„Happy tails in the campus” is a free discussion activity about positive and therapeutic activities with dogs and what does it mean to evaluate their suitability for being included in animal-assisted interventions (canine personality assessment).
The activity takes place on Saturday, May 20, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., in the USAMV Cluj-Napoca campus, the green space behind the building with the Auditorium/ Aula. Participants are animal behavior experts, practitioners of animal-assisted activities, Ethology & Human-Animal Interaction master’s students, but also USAMV CN students and teaching staff with their own pets (including fosters for various animal protection associations).
In addition to petting the dogs and discussions about good practices in positive experiences with dogs, the new undergraduate program Animal Behavior and Welfare (taught in English), within the Faculty of Animal Science and Biotechnologies, will be promoted.
Participation with your own pets is allowed, provided they have up-to-date vaccinations and do not show aggression towards people and other dogs. Looking forward to seeing you there
